It took a long day, but with a help of a jerry-built torus making tool we were able to get a reasonable looking torus. All of the edges of the final sculpture live on the torus, so we can start to carve them out tomorrow.
The white sail on the right is used to protect our torus from getting sunburned, a very serious problem during these too-warm days.
